WHAT TYPE OF SMOKE CAN BE DETECTED?
Any type of smoke can be detected such as, cigarettes, marijuana, cigar, and vape smoke.
WILL SMOKE BE DETECTED IF I SMOKE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR?
Smoke can only be detected if smoke is inside of the car. If one smokes close enough to the car that smoke gets inside the car then, yes smoke will be detected.
IF I ADJUST THE REVIEW MIRROR WILL THAT BE DETECTED?
The good thing is the replaceable paper will only change color from its original form based on the amount of time the smoke detector is covered. Adjusting the mirror will not change to color of the replaceable paper unless one was to adjust the mirror for 2 minutes or more in one setting.
CAN ONE DISPUTE CHARGES FOR SMOKING IN THE RENTAL VEHICLE?
Fortunately, once smoke has been detected traces of smoke can not be eliminated. Once smoke is detected it will change the color of the replaceable paper that will show traces of smoke months later.
